BioShock to become a Movie

Variety reports that Universal has purchased the rights to turn one of my favorite games, BioShock, into a feature film. They’ve attached Gore Verbinski to direct and John Logan to script the adaptation.
BioShock is perfect material for a feature length film, but they will need to make sure that they adapt it to be a standalone movie, not just a retelling of the game story line. Being that the main character in the game is you, they will need to introduce a main character that fits well into concept, but doesn’t overshadow the other characters and events from the game.
Both Logan and Verbinski have done excellent franchise adaptations in the past, so I have to say that I’m pretty damn excited about this one.
Guitar Hero …with Cars!!
Rainbow Six Vegas 2

I started playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 this weekend. Which promptly reminded me why I’ve never really gotten into any of the Tom Clancy games…. they are freaking hard!
I started playing on the middle difficulty, but I die so frequently that I’m wondering if I should start over in the casual mode. I don’t think you are supposed to take two hours to get through the first “educational” level.
At any rate, I do have to say the game is pretty fun. It isn’t quite Call of Duty 4, which has the perfect blend of first-person and tactical shooters. But the latest in the Tom Clancy franchise has a few differences to the controls to make it a little closer in overall gameplay and feel than previous titles.
